Hi, I'm a software engineer specializing in mobile and frontend development, but I dabble with industrial design.

I have tons of interests. I'm really into the arts and sciences. I studied electrical engineering. I like to build things, and also program stuff. I design physical things on my spare time. I have a 3D printer to print out prototypes (ask me about my prototypes!). Actually, one of reasons why I started prototyping things is because I'd like to start making props for cosplaying (Don't laugh, but I'd really like to make the Iron Man suitcase armor from Iron Man 2, transforming and everything). I also draw/sketch. Before I decided to study electrical engineering, fashion design was a huge possibility for me (took summer programs at FIT during my highshool years). I like to write, some are non-fictional (lots of AI or philosophy related stuff), some are scifi (short stories, only because whenever I try to start a novel or novella, it just seem like it's going to take a really long time to finish...). If you're into philosophy or AI, "The Mind's I" is a must read. I (sorta) play the guitar. It's been a while since I picked it up.

Now I'm going to rambling on about my other interests, you may ignore it if you'd like (and just send me a message! I'm always looking to chat about everything and anything)

I'm a huge fan of all things scifi (some fantasy too!), and the Japanese culture (anime, manga, cultural stuffs).

Some of my favorite scifi shows and movies are: Star Trek TNG, Star Trek Enterprise, Stargate( the entire franchise), Eureka, Warehouse 13, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Moon, Sunshine, (there's definitely more, but then it would be a super huge list. Firefly should also be that list, but I've only seen a few episodes. I def need to find time to watch it through.)

Some of my favorite scifi authors include Robert Heinlein (The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Stranger in a Strange Land, Number of the Beast, The Cat Who Walks through Walls), Alastair Reynolds, Asimov, Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game, Homecoming series), Phillip K Dick (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, A Scanner Darkly), Ursula K. Le Guin, Vernor Vinge, Nancy Kress, Arthur C Clark,... actually the list goes on and on. I'm constantly reading scifi.

I also love anime and manga. I've started watching anime since the age of 3 (blame my older brother's and sisters). I've kinda stopped watching anime due to the lack of time (too many filler episodes, man). But I do read manga on my tablet all the time. I love scifi manga (who'd have thought?) My favorite manga series of all time (well mangaka, really) is Tsutomu Nihei. I love Blame! and Biomega. I also enjoy GITS, Bloody Monday, anything by Osamu Tezuka (Buddha was a really good read), Eden: It's an Endless World!, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, Raqiya, Gantz, ... the list goes on (I also read a lot of Shojo stuff =x)

I don't have a lot of time to play video games, but when I do, I play it ferociously. I love the Saints Row games, Halo, Portal, Professor Layton, Phoenix Wright, Paper Mario, Zelda (all of them), Mega Man, Mario Galaxy, and a bunch more. (Did I mention that I was also exposed to video games at a really young age?)

I'm open minded and I'd like to meet others who are open minded too. I don't think one can really look for a specific type of person. But I think communication is key. People can get along as long as they're willing to share, learn, and grow.

Of course, sharing the same interests or willing to give it a go would be nice.

We'll just have to see after we get to know each other.
